Special Containment Procedures
All level 3 or higher personnel with extensive knowledge of SCP documentation are required to maintain mental discipline when in situations of low mental stimulation, such as during transit. To minimize the risk of information leakage, personnel should engage in activities that promote cognitive stimulation (e.g., reading non-sensitive materials, conversing on non-sensitive topics). No amnestics are necessary for containment.
SCP-XXXX refers to a potentially non-anomalous phenomenon where level 3 or higher personnel who have extensively read Special Containment Procedures (SCPs) tend to use certain anomalous phrases or notable elements from SCPs to mentally occupy themselves during periods of low stimulation. Examples of these phrases include standard phrases like "Item Number, Object Class Euclid, Special Containment Procedures", procedures such as "Under no circumstance should personnel...", designations like "To be contained at Site-...", protective phrases like "You do not recognize the bodies in the water, SCP-2316", sayings like "I have no right to speak with you, SCP-79", and warnings like "The following images and text are carriers for anomalous cognitohazardous effects".
While these phrases are typically minor and vaguely remembered by non-personnel, there is a risk of minor anomalous information leakage to the public. However, given the vague nature of these phrases and the lack of interest from the general public, such leaks do not necessitate amnestics. Additionally, some of these phrases may exhibit Class I cognitohazardous effects to individuals not familiar with them, though these effects are minimal and temporary.
